Though it made its first appearance on the world foodservice stage last year in Italy, the JOBS foodservice display case made its first grand entrance to the United States market last week at The NAFEM Show 2017.
Though many industry professionals knew about it from some of the JOBS introductions we’ve provided throughout the last year, this was the first opportunity many had to truly see why this display case changes the rules of customer relations.
If you weren’t at NAFEM, feel free to take a quick stroll around our booth.
The highlight of our booth was the super innovative JOBS, the countertop refrigerated display case. JOBS is a showcase designed to look more like a decorative element rather than a piece of foodservice equipment, as there are no controllers visible on it. With an avant-garde and sleek design for the box, there are many settings that can be programmed with the touch of an iPhone. They include everything from the color and sequence of the outside RGB lights (to evoke different moods), temperatures, inside LED color temperature, humidity and even fan speed to adapt the case to any type of food items like sushi.
This is a showcase that is designed to be ambiguous. Where’s the front? Where’s the back? With different sizes and height profiles, JOBS is truly a versatile foodservice display case that is intended to be walked around and discussed over, thus changing the ways operators can interact with their customers. And when visitors took a closer look at the JOBS display case, the notions of relationships, visibility, and aesthetics captured them.
